Connor co-founded BYLD Commerce, the brand accelerator that has helped scale more than 100 brands. He brings a rare mix of financial rigor and growth marketing know-how to the work: he holds a Master of Accounting from Brigham Young University, began his career as an associate at L.E.K. Consulting, and sharpened his marketing expertise at NP Digital, Neil Patel's award-winning digital marketing agency.
That blend of consulting discipline and hands-on growth experience shapes how he helps founders build and scale.
Outside of work, Connor is an avid golfer and pickleball player, and his greatest joy these days is raising his eight-month-old daughter alongside his wife.

Alec Hales
Asks the right questions, communicates candidly, and stays focused on outcomes — not buzzwords.
Alec Hales partners with consumer brands to accelerate growth across Amazon, Shopify, Meta, TikTok Shop, and other ecommerce channels. As part of the BYLD Commerce team, he works directly with founders and leadership teams to identify opportunities, solve growth challenges, and build strategies that create measurable business results.
Known for his practical, relationship-driven approach, Alec believes that successful growth comes from aligning strategy, execution, and accountability. Whether helping a brand expand into new marketplaces, improve advertising performance, or strengthen its ecommerce infrastructure, his focus remains the same: helping clients achieve profitable, long-term growth.
Alec is particularly passionate about working with entrepreneurial brands and enjoys helping business owners navigate the complexities of modern ecommerce. Clients value his ability to ask the right questions, communicate candidly, and remain focused on outcomes rather than marketing buzzwords.
When he's not working with brands, Alec enjoys spending time with his family, building aquarium ecosystems, reading fantasy literature, and exploring new business ideas.

Carter Blackwell
Leads client growth while building the systems that keep BYLD executing at speed.
Carter Blackwell is the Senior Strategic Operations Manager at BYLD Commerce, where he leads growth initiatives for brands while helping drive operational excellence across the organization. With extensive experience managing and scaling brands on Amazon, TikTok Shop, Meta, and Shopify, Carter specializes in developing data-driven strategies that increase revenue, improve profitability, and create long-term sustainable growth.
In addition to overseeing client success, Carter plays a key role in shaping BYLD's internal operations — developing processes, systems, and strategic initiatives that improve efficiency, strengthen execution, and position both clients and the company for continued success.
Throughout his career, Carter has partnered with brands at every stage of growth — from launching businesses from the ground up to managing established brands generating seven figures in annual revenue. Several of the brands he oversees have experienced rapid growth and profitability, including clients projected to generate more than $1 million annually.
Known for his strong communication, strategic thinking, and ability to execute quickly without sacrificing quality, Carter takes pride in building trusted relationships with clients and colleagues alike. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his wife and son, following and participating in sports, serving others, and fulfilling responsibilities within his church community.

Seth Dorian partners with consumer brands to drive growth across Amazon, Shopify, Meta, TikTok Shop, and other ecommerce channels. As a Strategic Brand Manager at BYLD Commerce, he collaborates with founders and leadership teams to uncover growth opportunities, solve strategic challenges, and craft strategies that drive measurable business results.
Known for his practical and relationship-focused approach, Seth ensures that strategy, execution, and accountability align for long-term success. He oversees the specialized teams that help BYLD Commerce's portfolio brands achieve sustainable growth across their ecommerce channels.
Outside of his work, Seth is a proud San Diego native who loves baseball, surfing, and spending time with his growing family.

Ryker Simmons is a BYU Strategy Management graduate with a deep passion for entrepreneurship and building brands from the ground up. He has hands-on experience in ecommerce spanning digital marketing, backend operations, and scaling storefronts.
He enjoys bridging the gap between strategic planning and real-world execution to help businesses grow, along with the challenge of turning a vision into a successful, operating business.

Outside of work, Alex enjoys spending time with his wife and two young children, staying active through sports and fitness, and operating his local gym. He values building strong relationships both personally and professionally and loves helping and seeing others succeed.

Lauryn believes that successful marketing starts with understanding people. She values collaboration, clear communication, and building strong relationships while helping clients navigate today's evolving marketplace. Her passion for consumer behavior and data-driven decision-making allows her to develop strategies that strengthen brands and support long-term growth.
Outside of work, Lauryn enjoys weightlifting, practicing yoga, spending time outdoors, golfing, and baking sourdough bread. She loves challenging herself, staying active, and continually learning both inside and outside of her career.
